I don't remember Pittsburgh Steelers fans being quite as amped up for a preseason performance in the past as they are right now. When you stop to think about it, it's not hard to figure out why they are so excited.
The Steelers finished the 2022 season going 7-2 since the bye week and they showed improvement down the stretch. Since then, Kenny Pickett has been overflowing with confidence and the offense could be truly on the rise for the first time in several years.
Additionally, the Steelers are coming off an impressive 2023 offseason where they plugged some major holes in free agency and loaded up on talent in the NFL Draft. Already in the preseason opener, they saw some spectacular performances from young players and rookies, including OLB Nick Herbig and DT Keeanu Benton.
Now Pittsburgh gets a terrific test against the Buffalo Bills in what could be the dress rehearsal game, and starters for both teams are expected to play most of the first half. You aren't going to want to miss this one. Here's how you can catch the game on time.
What time is the Steelers vs Bills game?
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills will kick off Week 2 of the preseason at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, August 19th. The game will be aired locally on KDKA-TV. Local viewers can also tune into the action on KDKA.com.
Out-of-market fans can catch the Steelers vs Bills game with a subscription to NFL+. We recommend using FuboTV (blackout restrictions may apply).
For those who can never get enough, you can tune in via Steelers Nation Radio for warmups at 2:30 p.m. or for Countdown to Kickoff at 4:30 p.m. You can listen online through the website or local listeners can tune the dial to 102.5 FM via the iHeartRadio app.
No matter if you intend to watch or listen to the game this Saturday, be sure to tune in on time. Head coaches Mike Tomlin and Sean McDermott both stated during their pre-game press conferences that they intend to play their starters early in this contest. This should be a great test to help the Pittsburgh Steelers get ready for what promises to be an exciting 2023 regular season.
