The Steelers defense yet again comes through to help secure a much-needed victory

As I have stated many times, the Steelers defense continues to deliver in crucial moments. Trailing by six points to start the third quarter, an INT by T.J. Watt, our All-Pro, 'All-World' OLB set up the offense in prime 'real estate'.

It should be noted that the only reason we were behind by six points at halftime was because of several miscues perpetrated by the Rams offense and special teams. Nonetheless, the defense set up the offense, the offense delivered and we found ourselves with the first lead of the game.

The only two sacks against the Rams came courtesy of Larry Ogunjobi and Nick Herbig, two unlikely 'heroes'. If you didn't watch the game and I said that we got two sacks, the assumption would be that T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith got those sacks, but that was not the case.

It was actually refreshing to see players not named Watt or Highsmith contribute in the sack department. It was also refreshing to see the offense close out a game rather than the defense closing out a game, which is frankly what we have been accustomed to seeing.

Let's see what else we learned.
