For roughly half of the Pittsburgh Steelers' fan base, the team's decision to sign Aaron Rodgers wasn't what they wanted to see. With young quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar on the roster, many fans are itching to turn the page to the next chapter of the franchise.

But if bringing back a 42-year-old quarterback wasn't enough, the Steelers' biggest rival, the Baltimore Ravens, just jacked up the price of admission to their final game of the season against Pittsburgh.

Yahoo! Sports reported (via Gametime) that the Ravens spiked their ticket prices at M&T Bank Stadium for their Week 18 season finale following Aaron Rodgers' announcement that this will be his final NFL season.

In a post on X, Yahoo! Sports wrote that ticket prices for the Ravens-Steelers went from $254 to $309. Talk about owner Steve Bisciotti and the organization trying to financially capitalize on an opportunity in what is expected to be Rodgers' final regular-season game of his illustrious NFL career.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hope the Baltimore Ravens don't get the last laugh

The Ravens would love nothing more than to send the Steelers home packing in their Week 18 season finale—something Baltimore couldn't do last season (thanks, Tyler Loop). If Rodgers holds true to his word—and assuming he's healthy—this game will be the final in-season contest of his career.

However, the Steelers are praying Rodgers' 22-year career won't end there.

The goal is not only to make the postseason but also to win a playoff game and avoid a despicable 10-year drought without a playoff win. If the Steelers make it to the playoffs, the last game of Rodgers' career likely won't come in Baltimore.

Regardless of how things unfold, the Ravens pulled one over on Steelers fans and their fanbase alike by adding a nearly 20 percent ticket price spike for Week 18. And there's no guarantee that Rodgers even suits up for this game.

Chances are, there will be something riding on this Week 18 contest, as the season always seems to come down to the Steelers and Ravens late in the year.

There are probably plenty of fans out there who would be willing to pay over $300 for a ticket for a season-fnale contest that could have playoff implications and seeding on the line, and getting to watch Rodgers in his final regular-season game would be the cherry on top.
