After allowing a demoralizing touchdown drive to the Raiders early in the first quarter, the Pittsburgh Steelers tightened the reigns on defense. However, their offense was still desperate to find success.

Pittsburgh turned their first four possessions into a mere 6 points of offense. Thankfully, Mike Tomlin's team got the spark they needed just before halftime when the Steelers were able to punch the ball into the endzone with 34 seconds remaining.

But this play by itself wasn't enough to keep the energy going in the second half.

Sitting on a 12-7 lead early in the second half, Pittsburgh's defense stopped the Raiders from moving the chains. That's when Jeremiah Moon came up with the special teams play of the year for the Steelers.

On Las Vegas' punt attempt, Moon came flying in to block the punt.

Steelers were desperate for a splash play, and Moon delivered

This gave the Pittsburgh Steelers the ball well within scoring range. It looked like the offense was going to come away with a touchdown on the next series. Unfortunately, Justin Fields was flagged for an illegal forward pass after he crossed the line of scrimmage. The play otherwise would have resulted in a touchdown to tight end Pat Freiermuth.

Instead, the Steelers turned the blocked punt into three points -- giving Pittsburgh a two-score lead over the Raiders.

This could have turned out better, but points are points. The Steelers did not play a pretty game on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders, but this key special teams play from Jeremiah Moon was the play of the game for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.
