'Hey, look! It's Aaron Rodgers at PNC Park!' Well, not really. But it sure looked like him. During the Pittsburgh Pirates home game on Thursday evening, Spencer Horwitz hit his first homer of the season, and the fan who caught the ball from the outfield bleachers shares a striking resemblance to the quarterback the Pittsburgh Steelers hope will be under center this year.

The video of the home run posted from MLB.com forces fans to do a double-take. This was the image circulating on social media on Thursday night. You be the judge.

You don't have to squint very hard to see the striking resemblance. If only Rodgers were that excited to be in Pittsburgh. Someone replied to this post on 'X', claiming that it was his 'buddy Jon'. There you have it; possibly a guy named Jon, not A-Rod.

It's funny how if you want something bad enough, you can almost make people believe it's real. This isn't Aaron Rodgers, but just the mere sight of him (or his doppelganger, in this case) is a sad reminder of the dismal state of Pittsburgh's quarterback situation.

Aaron Rodgers still isn't on the Pittsburgh Steelers (and time is running out)

On Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers president and owner Art Rooney II reiterated at NFL owners' meetings that the team can wait 'a little while longer' for Aaron Rodgers to make his decision. Rooney said this back on April 1 that the Steelers will not wait forever, 'but a little while longer'.

This doesn't set a hard deadline for the 41-year-old quarterback to ink a deal with the team, but with OTAs about to start up and mandatory minicamp kicking off on June 10, many are speculating that a decision will have to be made before then.

Like it or not, every fan who's being honest with themselves understands that Rodgers gives this team their best shot to win and compete in the 2025 season, not Mason Rudolph and not rookie sixth-round pick Will Howard.

Just like when we see a figure in a cloud of something that really isn't there, this random face in the crowd at PNC Park on Thursday night is just another reminder that Aaron Rodgers still isn't on the Steelers, and that time is running out for him to make a final decision.
