T.J. Watt’s new look entering Steelers camp has NFL analysts completely stunned

Pat McAfee is enthralled with T.J. Watt's physique entering camp.

T.J. Watt is preparing for his ninth NFL season, and we all know he's no stranger to the weight room. Following his record-setting contract extension, the Pittsburgh Steelers star took to Instagram to post a picture of himself, presumably after a workout with fellow edge rusher and former Wisconsin Badger Nick Herbig. Social media lost it over Watt's physique.

On Monday, big brother J.J. Watt joined The Pat McAfee Show to express his gratitude for T.J. receiving his massive contract extension. However, it was Watt's new look that stole the conversation.

As J.J. was talking about how proud he is of his little brother, McAfee interrupted to talk about T.J.'s physique.

"Did you see how jacked he looked?" McAfee asked J.J. Watt. "His right arm... Is that a thigh? What the h— is hanging off his right arm?... T.J., though, looks unbelievable. Unbelievable."

Co-host A.J. Hawk interrupted, saying, 'He looks huge?' Hawk asked J.J. if T.J. has changed anything (presumably in regards to his diet and workout routine).

"I mean, he's in a great spot," Watt explained. "I know he feels extremely good. He's been training his a— off over there... Yeah, he's in a good spot. He's really excited about camp. He's looking forward to being back with the boys. It's going to be great."

Pittsburgh Steelers fans have every reason to be optimistic about T.J. Watt in 2025

Pittsburgh Steelers fans didn't need another reason to get behind T.J. Watt, but now they have one. After inking a deal that will ensure he will stay in the Steel City until at least the 2028 offseason, it's even better to know that Watt looks as strong as ever and is feeling great.

While a picture of Watt with a chiseled physique by itself isn't going to persuade us that the 30-year-old edge rusher is primed for a great season, it's the collection of everything else that will.

Watt's contract negotiations with the Steelers are in the rearview mirror, so the four-time First-Team All-Pro and 2021 Defensive Player of the Year can focus on football during training camp. Watt is also healthy and rearing to go after a quiet finish to his 2024 season.

There's also no question that Watt isn't oblivious to the disrespect he's received this offseason from NFL analysts. The superstar has been snubbed from prestigious lists and rankings, most recently SI's All-Quarter Century Team. Watt continues to watch Myles Garrett receive unmatched praise as he plays the underdog.

J.J. Watt didn't comment on whether T.J. is bigger and stronger entering Steelers' 2025 training camp, but the chips are falling where fans had hoped, and it's great to hear that he's in the best shape of his life.
