Your Pittsburgh Steelers will take the field for their final exhibition game of the preseason tonight against the Carolina Panthers. The Steelers and Panthers have been facing each other in the preseason finale since 2003.

While the Steelers and Panthers will be resting their starters for the real season, the final preseason game is a big opportunity for the men who will be suiting up and taking the field. As Steelers coach Mike Tomlin explained in his weekly presser, this game is the final opportunity for some players to state their cases for a role on the roster in 2015.

"“This has become a preseason tradition for us, playing Carolina in the last preseason game. It’s the last opportunity for many men to state a case for themselves, or to be a part of this thing, or to define their roles within this thing as we move forward. We respect that. We respect that more than with our words but also with our actions. We have a lot of guys vying for spots. I look forward to watching them meet the challenge and show what they are capable of.” – Mike Tomlin"

This game will be the debut for newly acquired kicker Josh Scobee and will be the final competition game between punters Brad Wing and Jordan Berry.
