The Steelers dropped the Browns like a bad habit and with that came the end of their four-game losing streak.

On a short week the team will turn around and prep for a prime-time Thanksgiving matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. While the team gets ready for Indy we’ll be looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Wednesday, Nov. 23rd.

When he’s on, he’s on

Jim Irsay might be signing the checks over in Indy but the stats show that Ben Roethlisberger has owned the Colts the last two years. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reminds us that in 2014 Roethlisberger set a franchise record with 522 passing yards in a 51-34 victory over Indy.

More from Steelers News

In his last two games against the Colts Ben has almost 900 yards, 10 touchdowns and no picks. Fowler has David DeCastro’s comments about how deadly Ben can be when he gets on a roll.

"“When he’s on, he’s on. Not too many guys better than him. The ball’s coming out quick, not thinking, receivers are getting open. Kind of one of those things when everything is rolling. Ben gets in the zone, it’s contagious.” – David DeCastro"

I can see it now. Touchdown after touchdown. I’ve missed seeing that. Makes me want to sing the Isley Brothers.

Vote your Steelers

In case you hadn’t noticed, the NFL Pro Bowl voting has opened up. Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis is one of the team captains this year and they’re going back to the traditional formal of the AFC vs. NFC.

The game is being held in Orlando rather than Hawaii but I know we’d all rather see Pittsburgh head to Houston instead.

Uncle Rico

A player Steeler Nation might not know to be on the lookout for this week is the Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee. McAfee is a Pittsburgh native and standup comedian.

With the injury to Andrew Luck he’s just a few more injuries away from potentially throwing a football on Thursday night. That would be entertaining.
