Sights and Sounds of Steelers Camp
The Steelers website has compiled some of the best moments of the 2014 Steelers Training Camp in a video you can watch right here. Apparently Troy is a ninja in his spare time and Ryan Shazier and Stephon Tuitt are in disagreement over which one of them snores the loudest. The Friday Night Lights always provides entertainment for all as part of training camp but the team really had a different feel when the Buffalo Bills came to Latrobe do so some practicing. We got to see first hand what Joey Porter the coach looks like and watching Sean Spence return from injury has certainly been a highlight everyone has enjoyed.
Injuries
ESPN’s Scott Brown explains that while Ryan Shazier had returned to practice from his “booboo” Jarvis Jones will likely be sidelines for Saturday’s preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills with a groin injury. Also the team signed Luke Ingram to be the long snapper with Greg Warren out with a meniscus tear. There hasn’t been any specifics given about how much the starters are expected to play in Saturday night’s preseason game, only that the offensive unit is expected to play more than in the previous game against New York.
