Steelers depth chart
With the cuts made to get the roster down to the league-mandated 53 players on Saturday afternoon, the Steelers updated their depth chart. On defense Stephon Tuitt is listed as the starting defensive end on the right side with Brett Keisel listed as his backup. Mike Munchak got his wish to have nine offensive linemen on the roster with rookie Wesley Johnson making the team and listed as third string left tackle and guard.
Steelers roster cuts analysis
ESPN’s Scott Brown analyzed the roster moves made by the Steelers on Saturday. He decided that the most significant cut was that of nine-year veteran Guy Whimper from the offensive line. He also noted just how thin the Steelers have left themselves at OLB with Arthur Moats and Terence Garvin serving as backups. Neither Chris Carter or rookie Howard Jones made the cut although Jones is likely to end up on the practice squad. Brown also reminds us that the 53 men listed on the roster now aren’t a lock to be the 53 men once the regular season starts citing that the team can pick up other players who were waived as early as noon Sunday.

(Harrison cont) He loved being a tough guy. He would glare at you and say "what do you want?' and most would just melt. He loved it. (Cont)

James Harrison's body slam of a Browns fan was so compelling, it actually inspired it's own action figure. #Steelers pic.twitter.com/vsNGncVqhb

This is my 10th season covering NFL. James Harrison's INT return in Super Bowl XLIII has to be one of the 5 best plays I've seen in person.
