Week 3 of the NFL season is here. The games continue to be played in spite of what has turned out to be a disaster couple of weeks for the NFL PR-wise.

Here at Nice Pick Cowher, we are not only a bunch of nerds who follow the Pittsburgh Steelers tirelessly, but we are also a bunch of nerds who follow the NFL tirelessly. Therefore we put our money (or maybe just pride) where are mouths are and make picks on every NFL game each week. We don’t mess around with point spreads or anything like that. Just straight up picks.
This week starts off with an NFC South showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. Other divisional games include Washington and Philadelphia, Baltimore at Cleveland, San Francisco at Arizona, and Green Bay at Detroit. The Denver Broncos will get Wes Welker back, fresh off of his newly reduced suspension and the Monday night matchup pits the Chicago Bears against the New York Jets. Here’s hoping the Jets have all their timeout situations worked out by then.
The Steelers have another primetime road game as they’ll travel to Carolina to take on Cam Newton and the Panthers on Sunday Night Football. Yes, that means Chris Collingsworth in all his glory.
Yours truly was victorious last week with an uber impressive 8-8 record and I’m currently tied with Brendan for the overall lead. Here’s where I leave these guys in the dust. Feel free to join us in making picks of your own in the comments section, or take the opportunity to heckle and criticize our predictions if that’s your deal. Make picks of your own or you can root for your favorite NPC staffer!
Here we go Steelers! Here we go!
