The Pittsburgh Steelers will go for their fourth win in a row today against the New York Jets. The injury report has been a little longer than it has been before this week, a sign that this team hasn’t had the bye week yet.

Already ruled out for the game during the practice week were Troy Polamalu, Ryan Shazier, Shamarko Thomas, and Ross Ventrone. Ike Taylor is also out but has been working in limited practice for the past two weeks.
The Jets’ weekly practice injury report only had one player ruled out for the week; CB Darrin Walls did not practice all week and had already been ruled out of the game.
The official inactive list from the Pittsburgh Steelers for today’s game is Landry Jones, Ike Taylor, Shamarko Thomas, Ross Ventrone, Troy Polamalu, Ryan Shazier, and Chris Hubbard. That means that both WR Justin Brown and NT Daniel McCullers get hats today versus the Jets.

The New York Jets have also released their list of inactives for today’s game. QB Geno Smith will be active but the Jets will start Michael Vick for the game. Should be interesting to see how that will go.

The Steelers will look to not only avoid a letdown in New York, but to also keep this offensive explosion going against the Jets today.
