Potty Mouth
It cost New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan $100K to get his second win of the season last week over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well, not exactly, but he was fined by the league for being caught on camera using profanity after the victory. Ryan was caught saying “f**k you” to someone not on camera and since he’s got a history of this sort of thing, the league hit him extra hard in the wallet for it.

Mike Mitchell not fined for leap
In a play Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin called “unprofessional” during his press conference, Mike Mitchell will not be receiving a fine for his late game leap over the line of scrimmage at the end of the Steelers’ 20-13 loss to the Jets. ESPN Steelers reporter Scott Brown explains that Jets LB Jason Babin was fined $16,357 for his late hit on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, a hit that drew an unnecessary roughness penalty.
