Steelers vs. Ravens Predictions

The ESPN reporters gave their predictions for tonight’s AFC North Wild Card showdown. Jamison Hensley, super tool Raven’s reporter for ESPN predicted the Ravens will beat the Steelers although he gives very little credible explanation as to why he came to that pick aside from the fact that he’s an insufferable Baltimore homer. He cited that the Steelers are 1-4 this season when giving up 120+ yards rushing and the Ravens have done that 10 times this season. He forgets to mention that in the last meeting on Nov. 2nd the Steelers held the Ravens to 63 rushing yards.

Steelers ESPN Reporter Scott Brown predicts a 24-20 Steelers victory citing that although the Steelers will be playing without Le’Veon Bell, the Steelers can take advantage of having the better quarterback in the game, Ben Roethlisberger. He predicts a hard-hitting affair but says the Steelers home field advantage could be the deciding factor to give the Steelers their first playoff win since 2010.

Heeeeeeeath!

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller answers fan questions in the Steelers video mail bag. Particularly, how he feels when he hears the “Heeeeeeeeaaaaath!” chants in the stadiums.

Brown Swimming

Jenny Vrentas from The MMQB interviewed Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown about everything from what he remembers about his first Steelers vs. Ravens game to how he feels about being often underrated as a “small” receiver. She specifically asked him how he has developed such good chemistry with Roethlisberger to be able to enjoy the success both have had this season and what he’s learned from Ben to make him a better receiver.

“Being a pro. Making sure I’m mentally ready to go once I get to work; in walkthrough, being mentally prepared and focusing on the details of my assignment. I think our relationship has just gotten better over time, not only on the field but off the field. The more we chill, and learn each other, the better it is. I usually come to his house every summer, swim in the pool. We have a camp here every summer and working out in the offseason here at the facility.” – Antonio Brown
