After an impressive season and even more impressive month of December, Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Le’Veon Bell, has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month.

There are few guys in the league as exciting as Le’Veon Bell. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ running back creates big play after big play both through the pass and ground game. So, after finishing the regular season as strong as anyone, he’s been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month.

After putting up 310 rushing yards and five touchdowns in the month of December, Bell receives the second Player of the Month award of his career. Joining JuJu Smith-Schuster with an AFC player award, as Smith-Schuster won the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 17, the Steelers are excited to see their offense striving heading into the postseason.

Bell has been concerned one of the best backs in the NFL for years now, and each season, he continues to boost his stock. With this being another contract year for the running back, Bell is looking to make his impact as strong as possible before the offseason.

No one is concerned about Le’Veon’s future just yet. With Pittsburgh heading into the playoffs with a first-round bye and being considered one of the favorites for the Super Bowl, there’s no concentration on next summer.

Right now, Bell’s only focus is staying healthy during the postseason and winning. After leaving last year’s AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots with a groin injury, Bell is looking to prove he can be the difference for this team.

The Steelers and Patriots will likely meet again to decide the AFC’s representation in the Super Bowl. New England got the win during their regular season stint, but on a very controversial call.

Bell and the rest of this team will be hunting for a victory next week and a chance to prove they’re the better team this time around.
