NaVorro Bowman

NaVorro Bowman may not be the player he once was, but he still provides a veteran experience who can add to both dimensions of inside linebacker. He’s not Ryan Shazier in the pass coverage, but he can add more reliability than Bostic.

He won’t be asking for much money, as no one has offered a contract worth noting, thus far. Pittsburgh can sign him for cheap, and use him for the time being. They’ll be able to keep Bostic without having to move any other roster pieces.

This provides another weapon, one they need to at least try, without getting rid of someone who already knows the defense. Bostic is a great run stuffer, but they need more coming from the inside linebacker position. That’s where Bowman comes into play.
