The Pittsburgh Steelers had no shortage of Pro Bowl players in 2018. Here are the five players most likely to receive Pro Bowl honors this season.

The Steelers typically send a handful of players to the Pro Bowl just about every season. This year shouldn’t be anything out of the norm.

Pittsburgh stands to be a competitive team again in 2019. Though Antonio Brown will not be one of them, you can bet that the Steelers will have their share of Pro Bowl candidates this season. Here are the five players most likely to play in Orlando this January:

1. David DeCastro, RG

DeCastro is looking to earn his 5th straight Pro Bowl appearance, and doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon. At 29 years old, the former 1st round draft choice is still well within offensive line prime years. Barring injuries, DeCastro will be a Pro Bowler in 2019.

2. Maurkice Pouncey, C

Pouncey has made the Pro Bowl 7 of his 8 NFL seasons, and I don’t see that about to change. The only year he missed the Pro Bowl was in 2013 when he played just 1 game before getting injured. He has a great track record that should continue through the 2019 season.

3. James Conner, RB

Surprised? You shouldn’t be. James Conner received the most votes at the running back position for the AFC last year, despite missing three games and failing to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards. Conner may not be the best back in the AFC, but he is universally loved. Something tells me he will be there again in 2019 – assuming he stays healthy.

4. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

JuJu was a Pro Bowl alternate last season, but I think he gets in by vote this year. There are a lot of good receivers in the AFC including DeAndre Hopkins, Antonio Brown, Tyreke Hill, and now Odell Beckham. It won’t be easy, but if JuJu can receive enough volume, he can still find a way to make the Pro Bowl in 2019.

5. T.J. Watt, EDGE

Cameron Heyward needs to have serious consideration for the Pro Bowl, as always. However, I have him falling just out of the top five in place of T.J. Watt – an alternate from last season. Watt was extremely impressive in the second half of the season, and finished with 13.0 sacks in 2018. I think there is a solid chance he makes it this season as well.

Next. Ben Roethlisberger’s best graded season came when Le’Veon Bell was injured for Steelers. dark

It’s hard to say exactly which players will make the trip to Orlando this January, or even how many will be going. As of now, these five Steelers are the players I believe are most likely to be Pro Bowlers this season.
