The Steelers and Browns got into a brawl at the end of their Week 11 matchup. Here’s how long Maurkice Pouncey and Myles Garrett will be suspended.

Pittsburgh’s game against the Browns ended with insanity. Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph threw one final dump-off pass to Jaylen Samuels to end the game, but after Browns defensive end Myles Garrett laid into him after the play was over, Rudolph wasn’t happy.

Garrett went berserk – ripping Rudolph’s helmet off and even bashing him in the head with it once. Retaliation soon set in (as one would expect). Maurkice Pouncey – who is known for having his teammates’ backs – threw punches at Garrett and kicked him while he was down.

As expected, the league quickly took action. According to Ian Rapaport of NFL Network, the league office has officially handed out suspensions to three of the main culprits involved.

Pouncey currently sits on a three-game suspension (which is more than some anticipated he would receive). If it stands after his appeal, this means that Pouncey would not be eligible to play against Cleveland in their next matchup on December 1st.

To nobody’s surprise, Myles Garrett received the worst of the punishments handed out. The former 1st overall pick back in 2017 has been suspended for the remainder of the sesaon as well as the post-season (if Cleveland happens to make it that far).

In addition to Garrett’s suspension, defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi has also been suspended for a game for his conduct against Mason Rudolph. Ogunjobi shoved the quarterback to the ground in the midst of the scuffle. It wasn’t a surprise to see the name called for punishment from the league office.

The Steelers are fortunate to come out that late-game brawl unscathed. However, there were plenty of other injuries for them to mourn after the game. JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson left the game early with concussions, while James Conner reaggravated his previous shoulder injury. Pittsburgh needs to get their players back soon if they want to have any chance at a playoff run this season.
