3 players the Steelers can trade for before the 2020-2021 season

1. The Steelers trade Vance McDonald to the New York Giants for Kevin Zeitler
The Steelers’ offensive line is among the best in the NFL. Alejandro Villanueva, Maurkice Pouncey, and David DeCastro are among the best players in the NFL but the one hole in the Steelers’ star-studded o-line is the left guard.
This season, the Steelers signed two time Super Bowl champ, Stefen Wisniewski to fill the left guard position. However, Wisniewski is not the solution and there needs to be another player to back him up and possibly start over him. As it stands currently on the Steelers’ Depth Chart, Wisniewski is the only player listed at the left guard position which is not something a fan wants to hear.
While Stefen brings a winning mentality to the locker room, I want another player on the depth chart. Kevin Zeitler fits this role perfectly and I think the Giants would listen if the Steelers offered Vance McDonald. McDonald has had some solid moments in Pittsburgh but never like San Francisco. The Giants would be foolish to not take Vance McDonald to backup Evan Engram who is usually injured. The Steelers also signed Tight End, Eric Ebron, this offseason to be the number one starter so already McDonald will see a limited role. Zeitler and Wisniewski will both be free agents after the 2022 season and both will be 32 at the end of their contracts.
The NFL season is set to start September 10th and there is plenty of the time for the Steelers to improve their team. The Steelers have a great roster as it stands but if they add the three players I mentioned the Steelers would be my dark horse Super Bowl team easily.
