Fantasy football teams could be facing a make or break week, meaning that owners need to be well aware of the best waiver wire players to target.

With Week 3 coming to a close, fantasy football seasons are likely at a breaking point. For teams that are facing an 0-3 start, adding some spark to their team can be the difference between a last-place finish or a late-season playoff push. While week three was more settled for the NFL, there are still a plethora of new faces that should be considered on the waiver wire this week.

As a reminder, these players will be ones that had solid outings in Week 3 and are owned in less than 30 percent of the ESPN fantasy leagues. While all of these players aren’t guaranteed to be available in your leagues, it should be fairly easy to find these players in your fantasy football leagues. As well, preference is given to players that positions are more valuable like RBs.

Looking at last week, options like Jerick McKinnon and Dalton Schultz proved to be worthy of the waiver targets. On the other hand, Dion Lewis was almost a nonfactor for the Giants, making owners who grabbed him extremely disappointed with his production. The biggest whiff was missing on Mike Davis, who had a solid outing for the Panthers this week after replacing Christian McCaffrey.

Going into this week, there are far fewer injuries league-wide, meaning there are less obvious waiver wire targets. That said, there are still quite a few intriguing adds for fantasy football owners. All of this said, here are five of the hottest waiver wire adds for fantasy football in week four.
