The Steelers injury list is much more manageable than the Browns as Cleveland has six players who are questionable to play as well as four who are out.

The Steelers have two players out for Sunday as it has been confirmed that David DeCastro and Diontae Johnson will be watching from the sidelines. Those guys are good players but they will be relieved by quality rookie backups in Kevin Dotson and Chase Claypool. Both have been surprisingly impressive when called upon this season.

Meanwhile, the Browns have a myriad of injuries, and if I am a Cleveland Browns fan, I would be worried. They have injuries pretty much all around the ball including under center and at punter. Cleveland is especially banged-up at strong safety.

Here’s a look at the final injury report prior to the Steelers vs. Browns Week 6 matchup this Sunday:

Steelers Injury Report

David DeCastro (abdominal): Out

David DeCastro has been labeled as out for the game against the Browns and that gives Kevin Dotson another opportunity to start at right guard. Although it is never good to lose DeCastro, Dotson has done a good job in relief and can hold the job if needed.

Diontae Johnson (back): Out

Diontae Johnson was limited on Thursday but did not practice on Friday. I think it would be best for Johnson’s career if he let his body heal some. I think he has lots of potential and Chase Claypool is hot right now. I know Johnson would be out there if he could, but with the injuries he has had, I want him to get healed for the Ravens game where he can help overwhelm Baltimore’s secondary.
