Alex Highsmith made a huge play.

Baltimore started off on defense in the second half. They would stop Pittsburgh and force a punt. On their first offensive play, Lamar Jackson makes a big mistake.

Rookie 3rd round pick Alex Highsmith comes up with a huge interception for this defense. It granted Pittsburgh tremendous field position while getting his defense back off the field to help stay fresh. This is by far the biggest play Highsmith has had this year and it was invaluable to a Pittsburgh Steelers team that was looking for a way to get back into this game.

The Ravens at multiple times looked like they were going to be able to take control of this game. Yet, the Pittsburgh Steelers would have some kind of big play on defense to keep them within reach. This interception would be the start of the first comeback attempt by Ben Roethlisberger in 2020. This is what makes the team a championship contender. When the offense struggles, the defense finds a way to help them out, and vice-versa.
