5 Steelers games that were postponed for good reason

Browns @ Steelers: 2001 Week 17 (from 9/11)
In my 28 years of life, I have never experienced something more shocking, terrifying, and total sadness than what I witnessed on television on that particular date of September 11th. As we all know, 4 planes hijacked by the Al-Qaeda militia hit 3 key places on that morning: 2 at the World Trade Center, 1 at The Pentagon, and 1 in the rural area of Shanksville, PA just about 70 miles to the east of Pittsburgh (the flight was intended to go toward The White House in DC, but passengers changed direction).
The 2nd week of the season was postponed to allow compassion and sympathy to all persons involved in the aftermath of the attacks, pushed everyone’s bye weeks up to that point and shifted Week 2 into Week 17. The game itself wasn’t all memorable because the Steelers just wrapped up the AFC Central division crown and was just playing with their backups to get ready for the postseason, but it was meaningful for the reason why the game had to be rescheduled.
