Draft picks 9-12:

9) Denver Broncos: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn St.

While Drew Luck has had his share of issues, Parsons presents a huge upgrade on a defense that has been void of linebacker talent. Parsons was a top prospect before testing like a freak athlete at his pro-day, and it seems unlikely he falls out of the top ten. His character concerns are there, but his talent outweighs that for the Broncos.

10) Dallas Cowboys: Patrick Surtain II

Despite not being one of the top picks in the draft, the Cowboys and Surtain seemed to be locked together if he makes it that far. The Cowboys fielded one of the worst secondaries last season, so adding a top corner like Surtain makes sense. Assuming he makes it to pick number ten, it seems like the Cowboys are set to draft him.

11) New York Giants: Rashawn Slater, OL, Northwestern

Like it or not, the Giants are stuck with Daniel Jones. Now they need to find a better way to protect him. Slater is one of the most versatile linemen in this draft, as he can realistically play anywhere. The Giants would likely move him inside, but he has the talent to become one of the best interior linemen in the league.

12) Philadelphia Eagles: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

The son of former receiver Joe Horn, the Eagles seem to be banking on selecting him in the draft. Given their secondary woes, this makes sense. Horn will need a little development, but he has a natural ballhawk mentality and rare athleticism for his size.
