The offense was one-dimensional for the majority of last season and that ended up costing the team when you look in the rearview mirror. This was still an explosive offense at times even though they were effective through the passing game.

Pittsburgh lost some key components in the front line with Maurkice Pouncey and Al Villanueva departing from the team so filling those holes will be a struggle. It seems like Kendrick Green and Chuks Okorafor will take over the starting center and left tackle spots. It will have to suffice for the time being as the team hopes both will play well from day one.

This roster allowed for the Steelers to keep a lot of depth across the offensive line while keeping all of their playmakers in positional groups. Another interesting camp battle will be between Josh Dobbs and Dwayne Haskins for that last quarterback spot. It seems like it’ll be Haskins’s job to lose but Dobbs normally plays fairly well during the pre-season and wins those last roster spots. Another interesting part of this roster is adding Jesse James back into the fold. He is a reliable tight end that can do decent at both blocking and catching. He would provide great depth as the third member in that positional group.
