Steelers 3 bold predictions for the 2021-2022 season

The Pittsburgh Steelers still have some question marks on this team and that led to these predictions. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a season where they won the AFC North division but they failed to win a playoff game. They won the toughest division in football but they have yet to win a playoff game for the past couple of years. There seem to be mixed reviews about what this team currently is and what they could be by the end of this 2021-2022 NFL season.

They are coming back into the toughest division in football and it keeps getting more competitive. The Cincinnati Bengals are still a bad team but they are going to try and show their improvement. They could very well be a better team shown both on the field and in the record department. It will be interesting to see where the black and gold end up in the standings once the regular season concludes.

There has been a lot of turnover since the playoff loss against the Cleveland Browns occurred at Heinz Field. Those turnovers could cause them some more headaches as the season goes along. Their 12-4 record from last year could be a very hard hill to climb when you observe what the majority of “experts” are saying. The AFC North is very rarely ever won in consecutive years so this will be a tough feat for the Steelers to accomplish before the regular season ends.

This team had little to no expectations entering last year and they will likely have those same thoughts from the outside world going into this one. They will need to shock many of these people that get paid to talk for a living if they want to get into the playoffs and push for a seventh Lombardy Trophy.
