Aaron Donald, DT, LA Rams

Many people might not realize it but Aaron Donald is a Pittsburgh guy. He is from Penn Hills and went to the University of Pittsburgh to play college ball. He dominated the college ranks and quickly rose draft boards. This player has done nothing short of destroying competition and rack up awards for his efforts. He signed a contract extension with the LA Rams a couple of years ago but he is still young and in his prime. This would be a great addition to a team that lacks leadership and instincts on defense later on. It is unknown if Donald would have an interest in playing for the black and gold but he still comes back to Pittsburgh during the offseason to train.

His family is still here and the player seems like he would be a natural fit with the Steelers. This would be one of the last contracts that he would sign in the NFL to recognize a childhood dream of playing for the hometown club in the Steel City. Not only that but he would be able to live closer to family and friends in the Pittsburgh area. They could see him play during every home game, which they probably struggle to see in person currently due to the distance.

The Steelers would be lucky to add any of these four players before they hang up the cleats for good. Any of these additions could always happen in the future under the right circumstances.
