PHOTOS: Players arrive at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp 2021

The Pittsburgh Steelers are ready to kick off their 2021 training camp. Here’s a fresh look at some of the players who arrived on July 21st. 

Just like that, the painfully long offseason wait without football is finally over. Sure, mandatory minicamp broke it up a little bit back in June, but with Steelers training camp set to begin, it’s really starting to feel like football season!

Steelers players began arriving at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex in Pittsburgh on the morning of July 21st, as camp kicks off for the team. Here’s a fresh look at some photos of players who have reported to camp, courtesy of the Pittsburgh Steelers official Twitter account:

I question Ben Roethlisberger’s camp that claims he’s on a ‘stricter diet’ than Tom Brady (just saying), but I don’t want to open that can of worms right now. Overall, there’s something about the fact that the players have shown up for training camp that just gets us excited for the NFL season.

Though players reported on July 21st, practices don’t open to the public until July 28th and run through August 18th. All practices are set to take place at Heinz Field, where you will need to order your tickets in advance so the facility can get a headcount (NOTE: all training camp tickets are free and can be claimed at Ticketmaster through this link).

If you are planning on visiting Steelers training camp, please refer to the camp schedule, as there are certain days that are not open to the public. There should be plenty of room for fans to take part in the festivities; although training camp could look very different this year than it typically does at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe.

Still, this is a great way to see your team up close in a practice setting -especially if you’re not able to make it to any games this year. I will be at training camp for several days this summer, and I’m excited to take notes and share them with you.
