The Baltimore Ravens have players that any team would want, so I chose three players that Steelers fans would want playing for their team on gamedays.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will face off against the Ravens for the first time this year. Sadly, this matchup comes when the Steelers are at their worst and the Ravens are at their best. Still, you never know which way a Steelers and Ravens game will go, we’ve seen some crazy ones over the years.

Here are three players that not only would get Steeler fans excited but would help the Steelers fill some much-needed holes in certain positions.

QB Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson is already a very accomplished QB at the young age of 24. He won the Heisman trophy when he was a sophomore at Louisville and won an NFL MVP in just his second year in the NFL. Lamar makes the most sense in Pittsburgh’s current offense. The offense is molded for a mobile quarterback and that would be Lamar.

Jackson is a better passer than what people say. He doesn’t get the big yards as other QBs do, as during his MVP campaign he totaled just 3,127 yards but threw for 36 touchdowns and ran for 1,206 yards and 7 touchdowns. He throws for a lot of touchdowns and his threat as a runner opens the passing game up. There is no denying Lamar’s explosiveness and what that brings to the Baltimore offense, now imagine him on Pittsburgh’s young offense with a very young offensive line.

Another thing that Lamar is good at is escaping the pocket when it collapses, meaning there won’t be as much pressure for the Steelers’ young offensive line to almost play perfectly as they do now with Ben Roethlisberger. Lamar Jackson would do wonders in Pittsburgh and the team had the option to bring this talent to the Steel City in 2018, and to a lot of people, he would have been the right choice.
