The Steelers need to keep their winning streak going this week, and here are four bold predictions for their week 16 matchup against the Chiefs.

The Steelers got a huge win last week, coming back from an early deficit (something that is becoming a common trend) to win the game. Sill in the playoff hunt, especially considering the state of the AFC North, the team needs to find a way to beat the Chiefs to keep their hopes alive.

Here are four bold predictions for the Steelers as they face the Chiefs in week 16.

Steelers make Mahomes look human

Patrick Mahomes is having a down year, but even then, he is still putting up obscene numbers. What is hurting him is a lack of options in the passing game, as he is forcing passes to one of two targets. While that has led to both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce going over 1000 receiving yards, it has also led to some forced passes that have been picked off. Mahomes is still the league’s best quarterback, but he has looked human so far in 2021.

The Steelers have to capitalize off of this and come up with some big plays. No, Mahomes won’t throw four interceptions and be held to under 200 yards passing, but the team needs to get a turnover or two to stall this offense. This is the year to do it, as Mahomes has been more prone to mistakes than in years past. The team has to be aggressive in shutting down his top threats and forcing mistakes as a defensive unit.
