With the Steelers gearing up for their final regular-season game of the 2021 season, here are some bold predictions for the team vs the Ravens.

The Steelers will be gearing up for potentially the final game of Ben Roethlisberger’s career, as they are far from locks for postseason play, let alone a victory over the Ravens. Despite Baltimore having its share of struggles in recent weeks, they are an ever-present threat and must be respected heading into the final week of the season.

Here are four bold predictions for the Steelers vs the Ravens in week 18.

Steelers Witherspoon ends the year strong

One of the better players for the Steelers defense in recent weeks has been Ahkello Witherspoon. Despite being traded for at the beginning of the season, Witherspoon struggled when on the field and was mostly a healthy scratch until the first meeting with the Ravens in week 13. Since taking over for James Pierre, Witherspoon has been a consistent threat in man coverage, having nine passes defended and three interceptions to his name.

With a lot riding on this season for Witherspoon, I think he ends the season on a positive note. His first solid game was against the Ravens, and I think he plays even better than before. His quarterback rating is astronomically low right now, and I don’t think that changes against the Ravens.

He maintains his high level of coverage, adds two more passes’ defenses, and even snags his fourth interception of the season. All in all, Witherspoon has an impressive game to cap off a strong stretch of games and puts himself at the top of the list for a new contract this offseason.
