In 2021 the Steelers offensive line was a mess, it resulted in numerous sacks of Big Ben, and any yardage gained by Najee Harris was through grinding it out for short gains of three or four yards. Many were not happy the Steelers did not address the offensive line in the draft, yet they did sign some undrafted free agents to help plug any holes. However, they did sign some free agents, most notably James Daniel.

Headed into the 2022 season, they have 13 offensive linemen competing for spots. The nice thing is that their offseason acquisitions have players who can play different positions. Mason Cole was a big signing in that the Steelers now have the flexibility to move Kendrick green to guard this season. Plus, the UFDA Mason Cole, if they do not cut, can play multiple positions as well, including Center.

Even though they did not use the draft, they have much more talent, and there should be a major improvement from last season. If the line plays much better, you could see Najee rush for perhaps 1500 yards, and fewer sacks mean more pass completions.
