Steelers offensive line

I would strongly caution against expecting this unit to be one of the best in the league, but the Steelers did just enough to their offensive line that we might expect some noticeable improvements this year.

While I wasn’t a huge Mason Cole fan, I was ecstatic about the James Daniels signing. The former Bears offensive guard could immediately become the best offensive lineman on the Steelers. In addition, the Steelers will be getting a healthy Kevin Dotson returning from injury, and I would think that Cole would still be an upgrade at center over Kendrick Green.

The Steelers also have the youngest projected starting offensive line in the league, and each player has yet to hit their prime. With another step forward from Dan Moore and Chukwuma Okorafor, this unit could prove to be more consistent than the one we witnessed in 2021.

Pittsburgh still has plenty of work to do on their roster and they still need to find long-term solutions to many key positions on their team. However, I think these three positional groups improved on paper from the 2021 season and could give this team a boost in 2022.
