Last year, due to COVID-19 protocol, training camp was held at Heinz Field, but the team is returning to their home away from home in 2022.

When does Steelers training camp start?

Players will report to training camp on July 26th. The first practice will take place at 1:55 p.m. Eastern time on the 27th. The Steelers will host their first padded practice on August 1st.

Where is Steelers training camp located?

After a two-year absence due to COVID-19, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be back in Latrobe, Pennsylvania for training camp this year. They will continue their tradition at Saint Vincent College — their home for training camp since 1966.

Is Steelers training camp open to the public?

Steelers training camp will be open to the public starting July 27th, but they have ‘no practice’ days on July 31st, August 7th, and August 14th. Practice will be closed to the public on August 12th prior to their preseason game on the 13th, and the final day to attend will be Thursday, August 18th.
