The Pittsburgh Steelers have rising young talent on their roster. Here are four-player who could very well be the next generation of Pro Bowlers for this team.

Everyone is well aware of the reputation that follows players like T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Cameron Heyward. These players are more or less ‘the big three’ for the Pittsburgh Steelers in this era, and we expect good seasons out of them every year. As a result, they have combined for 13 Pro Bowl appearances.

Outside of these three, Steelers fans are always wondering who will be among the next era of players to step up into Pro Bowl honors for Pittsburgh. Young guys like Diontae Johnson and Najee Harris have already earned their Pro Bowl appearance, but more could be on the horizon. While nothing in the NFL is ever a guarantee, here are the four Steelers I believe are next in line to be Pro Bowl players.

4. George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

This one isn’t sure hard to envision. During his rookie season, George Pickens absolutely made the most out of his 84 targets — turning them into 801 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. Pickens’ 9.5 yards per target was 13th-best in the NFL despite a stagnant offense and shaky QB play at times.

As a route runner, there’s still a lot of work to be done, and Pickens needs to do a better job of creating yardage after the catch. However, he might have been one of the most impressive 21-year-olds we’ve ever seen with the ball in the air.

After witnessing his remarkable rookie season, the sky seems to be the limit for George Pickens. If he can carve out a bigger piece of the pie in 2023, there’s no reason to believe that he couldn’t be a Pro Bowl player as early as next year.
