Expectations in Miami were modest, yet he failed to meet even those low standards. Instead, Claypool flamed out of the Dolphins organization just months after arriving.
Claypool’s latest comeback attempt came with the Green Bay Packers after he received an invitation to try out during rookie minicamp.
For those unfamiliar, these opportunities are typically extended to players with slim chances of making the roster. He failed to make an impression during the tryout, leaving Claypool on the free agent market once again. Ever since the Steelers traded him away, Claypool’s career has gone from bad to worse.
