The Pittsburgh Steelers' front office is doing their best to excercise patience with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The highly-coveted free agent quarterback is taking his good old time time decide his next destination while retirement isn't out of the question.

But not everyone has patience with the diva quarterback... and we can't say we blame them.

On his Tuesday episode of the Not Just Football Podcast, Cameron Heyward voiced his frustration with Rodgers' reluctance to make a decision. When asked about recruiting Rodgers, Heyward didn't hold back on how he really felt.

“I ain’t doing that darkness retreat," Heyward beamed. "I don’t need any of that crap. Either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don’t. That’s simple, that’s the pitch. If you want me to recruit, that’s the recruiting pitch. Pittsburgh Steelers if you want to be part of it, so be it. If you don’t, no skin off my back.”

While some could argue that Heyward is potentially burning a bridge between Rodgers and the Steelers, most would agree that the All-Pro defensive lineman is speaking up with the words that fans have finally been waiting to hear.

It's impossible not to side with Cam Heyward here. Every other free agent on the market—big or small—knows that NFL teams need answers. Rodgers understands that, the longer he waits, the more his future team will be left in the dark. He just doesn't care.

We need respected veterans and NFL leaders like Heyward to put Rodgers in his place. If the aging quarterback ever gets done walking along the beach in some remote destination and sees the viral video of Heyward's comments, let's hope it's the kick in the pants he needs.

The lastest whispers are the Rodgers is waiting to see if the Minnesota Vikings will sign him. That's appears to be his favorite possible desitation.

Unfortunately, sometimes the nature of this business means putting up with unwanted antics (see George Pickens). This is a billion-dollar industry and you can't steer the ship without a quarterback. The difference between Rodgers and Mason Rudolph is still night and day, so the Steelers front office and all of its players should welcome Rodgers with open arms. After all, he's the best remaining option at the position.

At the end of the day, we can give Heyward a virtual high five for voicing the frustrations fans of the Steelers, Giants, and Vikings have had since day one. Just make up your mind already, but we're done begging you to join our team.
