The Pittsburgh Steelers currently have a quarterback room led by Mason Rudolph and Will Howard as they await an answer on the Aaron Rodgers front, and they somehow don't even have the most chaotic situation under center in their own division. The Cleveland Browns are once again to thank for this.

Not only are Joe Flacco and former Steelers first-round bust Kenny Pickett fighting for a starting spot, but two draft picks in confusing third-rounder Dillon Gabriel and fifth-round faller Shedeur Sanders are fighting for the heralded QB3 job.

Any Steelers fan who was paranoid enough to be worried about what would happen when Gabriel got assimilated into Kevin Stefanski's offense can breathe a major sigh of relief, as the first reviews from Gabriel's initial Browns OTAs are a major reality check for this fanbase.

According to Zac Jackson of the Athletic, while Sanders has looked impressive throughout OTAs, Gabriel "does not look like an NFL quarterback to me." Once again the Browns appear to have made a cataclysmic mistake at the quarterback position that Pittsburgh could take advantage of.

Steelers fans can laugh at Browns as Dillon Gabriel struggles at OTAs

Who would have thought that taking Gabriel, a 5-10 southpaw quarterback that was projected by many to be taken in the sixth or seventh round, with a top 100 pick would be a bad idea? Furthermore, who could have seen that adding two rookies in the same draft would cause some strife? Apparently not Cleveland.

While Sanders at least has some tremendous upside that could help make him a threat in the pros, Gabriel might struggle against this Steelers defense. The native Hawaiian and alum of UCF, Oklahoma, and Oregon might find it very hard to be productive in adverse weather.

No matter what happens at quarterback for Pittsburgh, Cleveland will likely not need to be taken seriously as a threat. Whatever skills this group may have on the defensive side of the ball will be overshadowed by an offense that is lacking in both leadership and overall talent.

Even as the Steelers prepare for the Rodgers tornado to sweep through town, they can take solace in their quarterback situation somehow being less messy than what their Ohio-based rivals are doing.
