With the 2025 NFL draft just days away, the Pittsburgh Steelers have many unanswered questions. Will Aaron Rodgers be the starting quarterback in 2025? How will they replace the departing Najee Harris? When will T.J. Watt get his extension?

The answers to those questions will massively impact how the Steelers navigate the NFL draft. The Rodgers situation in particular could affect when they take a QB. They have been linked to just about every top QB in the class so far.

With how desperate they would be for more options if Rodgers were to spurn them, reaching on a QB seems more and more likely as the draft draws near. Pro Football Focus seems to think so as well, based on their latest mock draft.

With all of the buzz surrounding the Steelers and this QB class, many draft experts seem to be trying to find the right fit for them in the first round. When the news came out that Jalen Milroe would be attending the NFL draft in Green Bay, many immediately pointed fingers at the Steelers as a potential reason why the league felt comfortable inviting him.

Pro Football Focus' Jordan Plocher seems to think so, as he had Milroe go to the Steelers in his latest first-round mock draft.

Milroe certainly has first-round ability, with a rocket arm and elite movement ability. He would potentially give Arthur Smith what they were hoping to get out of Justin Fields had they been able to bring him back in free agency.

The problem is that Milroe is even more raw than Fields was coming out of Ohio State. The Alabama standout has serious concerns when it comes to his accuracy and mechanics, and it limited him as a passer at the college level.

Still, the Steelers need to find a future franchise QB at some point before this core of players fully ages past their prime. Many would wonder if it's too much like the Kenny Pickett selection, but at least Milroe has the talent to potentially return value on this pick if it does ultimately come to pass.
