The Pittsburgh Steelers are finishing up their preparations for the 2026 NFL draft as we speak, and the city of Pittsburgh is also hard at work preparing to host the three-day event this year. It's become a tradition recently for the team hosting the draft to bring in both legendary and current players to announce draft selections on Days 2 and 3, and we now know which names have been tabbed to do so this year.
According to ESPN's Brooke Pryor, fans will get to see Jerome Bettis, Joey Porter Sr., Joey Porter Jr., and John Stallworth announce the team's four Day 2 selections.

On top of their appearances, many other presenters have ties to either the Steelers or the Pittsburgh area. Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner, NFL legends Jimbo Covert and Tony Dorsett, and several others either played for the University of Pittsburgh, the Steelers, or both.
Needless to say, the city will be well represented on the draft stage.
Pittsburgh Steelers fans should be pleased with the choices to represent the franchise at the NFL draft
I want to focus on the four names that the Steelers are bringing out specifically, starting with the legendary receiver Stallworth. The Hall of Fame wideout was an integral part of the franchise's first four Super Bowl victories, forming a dynamic duo with fellow Hall of Fame inductee Lynn Swann. He is also a member of the famous 1974 draft class, which featured four Hall of Famers. Stallworth remains a part of the franchise to this day, as he has been a minority owner since 2009.
Bettis being included as a presenter was a no-brainer, as few players are as universally loved by the fanbase. Between his many TV and radio roles since his retirement, he remains a well-known figure in the Pittsburgh area. A Hall of Famer himself, "The Bus" should really get the crowd going on Friday night.
Then there is the father-son duo Porter Sr. and Jr., who have the most direct ties to the current regime. Porter Sr. spent the first eight seasons of his impressive career with the Steelers, ranking seventh in team history with 60 sacks. He also spent multiple seasons coaching outside linebackers for Pittsburgh before being fired after the 2019 season.
In 2023, the Steelers drafted Porter Jr. with the first pick in the second round. He has since developed into one of the most suffocating cornerbacks in the NFL, and could become one of the highest-paid players at his position with another strong season in 2026. Overall, not a bad lineup to get the city excited for Day 2 of the draft.
