7. Pat Freiermuth and Diontae Johnson combine for 15+ touchdowns

Confusion on offense led to an unproductive regular. Pittsburgh's receiving core stat lines were less than desirable. Diontae Johnson failed to record a touchdown reception for the first time in his NFL career.

There was a bright side to the Steeler's offense drought last year. Pat Freiermuth doubled his receiving yards (732) and earned a prominent role in the offense. If the Steelers expect to win, they must feed their weapons. I expect Johnson and Freiermuth to contribute -resulting in a handle of touchdown receptions.

6. Steelers sweep Baltimore Ravens

The Steelers and Baltimore Ravens have one of the biggest rivalries in the league. Spectacular finishes decide the fate of close games. Players take the field with passion and execute for four quarters.

A win earns bragging rights for the season and a chance to clinch the AFC Playoff bracket. Additions to the roster will make this year's slate of games interesting. The Steelers defeated the Baltimore 16-13 in Week 17 last season. They need to sweep a divisional opponent, and the Ravens could be a great target.

5. George Pickens earns more than 1,000 receiving yards

The connection between quarterback and wide receiver should be inseparable for successful duos. They rely on each other to succeed, especially at the professional level. George Pickens and Kenny Pickett work well together.

In 2022, Pittsburgh's newest acquisitions connected frequently. Pickens recorded 801 yards receiving and four touchdowns. We can expect him to earn more targets in the new campaign. He should hit the benchmark goal for receivers to prove he deserves a spot in the top tier.
