2. RB Najee Harris
Don't let the back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons fool you; Najee Harris hasn't been very efficient early in his career. I think some fans are finally starting to pick up on this. However, there is a large crowd that continues to chalk everything up to him not being healthy or they will hand the blame to the offensive line.
It's a collection of factors, really. The O-line does deserve criticism (especially early in the 2022 season) as does the play-calling at times. However, Najee simply needs to show that he can be more efficient as a runner. Advanced statistics show that he has ranked near the bottom of the league in each of his first two seasons, and 2022 was worse than his rookie year.
Harris does show flashes at times and he's throwing off would-be tacklers or catching the ball in space. But these flashes are nowhere near consistent enough at this point.
The Steelers offensive line is projected to be improved, and this should help. But even if Harris is healthy and the offensive line is improved, I'm not buying the hype that he could be one of the best running backs in the league based on what I have seen from him in his first two seasons. I hope he proves me wrong.
