5 Steelers who could be cut unless they stand out against the Bills tonight

Fresh off their week one preseason victory, the Steelers are wrapping up their training camp portion of the preseason process. They have two remaining games before the final decisions need to be made by the Steelers when it comes to the construction of their final 53-man roster. There are going to be some players that miss the cut.

It is up to the players to make the final decisions increasingly difficult, but that has not been happening with some of these players recently. Training camp is grueling but the lesser-known players have to find ways to stand out in a positive direction to make the cut. That positive play has to carry over into games and these players need to find a way to rebound in week two.

A veteran defensive lineman could be on his way out of Pittsburgh soon

Competition is what makes NFL rosters rumble. That is exactly what is happening with Pittsburgh and their defensive trenches. It is unknown how many defensive linemen the Steelers will end up keeping in their final roster entering week one of the regular season. Most have speculated that it will likely sit around six to seven players across the front.

That likely leaves Montravius Adams, Isaiahh Loudermilk, Breiden Fehoko, and Armon Watts leading the pack for the final two or three potential spots available. Watts has done some nice things at training camp but did not stand out enough during the first game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The experienced veteran will have to step up his game to bypass the others in front of him.
