#4 - Dan Moore Jr.

When the Steelers drafted Broderick Jones, enough minds in the fanbase collectively decided that he was the starting left tackle by default. After all, the Steelers traded up to get him and Dan Moore Jr. has been far from a franchise left tackle in his first few seasons.

But that doesn't mean Moore is a bad player. And it certainly didn't mean that he had to agree with the masses and concede his job to the 14th overall pick.

Moore looks like he may have solidified his starting position at left tackle, at least to begin the season. While all three of the Steelers primary options at tackle, including Chukwuma Okorafor at right tackle, have struggled in one manner or another, Moore has been the most consistent.

Jones is the future at the position. There isn't much doubt there. But Moore's performance so far allows the Steelers to do with their prized rookie what the team genuinely prefers to do: be patient.

Once upon a time, rookies didn't get starting jobs in Pittsburgh. Dan Moore is doing his part in preserving that tradition.
