2nd: It is nearly impossible what the Steelers are currently accomplishing

The Steelers have been outgained in each of their games this season, yet they hold a 5-3 record and second place in the AFC North standings. They have been able to find ways to win games no matter if it has come at the ugliest of circumstances. Some improvement has been on display, but there are still a ton of concerns that could label them as pretenders.

Mike Tomlin is trying his best to drag this shell of a team into the playoffs before that thick shell breaks and the club falls apart down the stretch. They were able to win a big AFC game this past Thursday against the Titans in another winnable game for them. Again, the Steelers' defense was a tough opponent for Tennessee to overcome.

Even Pittsburgh's offense was able to be effective just enough on the ground and in the air to get points on the board. The remainder of the schedule for the black and gold is favorable overall, but that doesn't mean it will be easy. They need to win the remaining "winnable" games on their schedule, and they could actually reach the playoffs.

They will host the Green Bay Packers for their last home game of this three-game homestand. They have to win this game to go into a tough couple of AFC North battles in back-to-back weeks. The Packers are struggling right now, but they can beat you if you turnover the ball and play without cause. The Steelers have to win this game to stay in the hunt.
