The Steelers pass rushing unit took a hit early in the second half as Nick Herbig left the game with a groin injury. Now that unit will continue on without much reserve as DeMarvin Leal has left the game with an injury.

Leal, alongside Jeremiah Moon, took on extra snaps in place of Herbig while also rotating with TJ Watt. It was not clear what injury he sustained, although it's worth noting he was sent directly to the locker room after leaving the field under his own power.

According to later reports, Leal suffered a stinger and is doubtful to return.

Without Herbig and Leal, the Steelers are down to just two outside linebackers. It will be difficult for the pass outside pass rush to be effective without any subs and allowing the Cowboys to be able to bring more attention to Watt's side.

Jeremiah Moon, who only recently returned from injury himself, will now pair with Watt for the remainder of the game.

The Steelers may have to address the position ahead of next week's game against the Las Vegas Raiders in some regard. Alex Highsmith is unlikely to be ready to return from the hamstring injury he suffered two weeks ago and Herbig's hamstring could linger just as well.

We'll continue to monitor Leal's status as more information becomes available.
