After the Pittsburgh Steelers were unable to punch the ball in the end zone in Week 1, everyone wanted to see how Justin Fields would respond in Week 2. The 25-year-old quarter showcased everything we wanted to see against the Denver Broncos.

From Pittsburgh's second drive, Fields wowed fans with his ability to extend the play and throw on the run. He capped off the Steelers' second series of the game with a beautiful touchdown pass on a back-shoulder fade to tight end Darnell Washington.

Field ripped the ball all over the field for one beautiful play after the next. Unfortunately, some bone-headed decisions by his Steelers teammates prevented him from having the perfect game in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos.

To watch Justin Fields in Week 2, you would have thought his numbers would have been through the roof. Unfortunately, the raw production was modest. This was largely due to a few penalties with massive implications both on the game and Fields' individual performance.

In the second quarter, the talented quarterback rolled to his right and delivered a 50-yard strike to George Pickens to get the Steelers down to the six-yard line in position to punch in a touchdown. However, this play was negated by a holding penalty from offensive tackle Broderick Jones.

Later in the quarter, Van Jefferson couldn't reel in a beautiful pass down the right sideline, though a pass interference penalty set Pittsburgh up in a position to score. Still, this could have been another massive play toward Fields' stat line that didn't count.

A few plays later, Fields threw his second passing touchdown of the game -- this time to George Pickens. Unfortunately, Jefferson was too blatant with his pick play and was tagged for offensive pass interference.

The collection of these plays wiped away would have been a nearly flawless performance by the young quarterback in the first half against the Denver Broncos. Justin Fields is showing everything fans were hoping to see from him, but poor decisions from his teammates are robbing him of glory early in his Steelers career.
