The Pittsburgh Steelers are locked in a tight game with the evenly matched Los Angeles Chargers, but both teams are seeing the names on the injury list grow after a physical first half.

The Chargers have already seen star pass-rusher Joey Bosa re-aggravate his hip injury from Week 1, leaving him questionable to return.

The Steelers have thankfully avoided any injuries to their superstar players, but the depth of the roster has certainly taken a hit.

Early in the game, second-year cornerback Cory Trice left the game with a hamstring injury and was listed as questionable to return. It's not clear when he sustained the injury, but a soft-tissue issue could prove problematic for the promising young corner.

Trice picked up his first career interception against the Broncos last week while taking a snap for Dante Jackson.

Wide Receiver Van Jefferson also left the game early after sustaining an eye injury. Similar to Trice, it's not clear when Jefferson was injured. In his relief, Scotty Miller stepped up to haul in a crucial 20-yard reception on the Steelers first scoring drive.

There were initial concerns that the Steelers had yet another injury on the offensive line as Mason McCormick replaced Spencer Anderson at left guard. It was eventually concluded that Anderson had simply been replaced in the line-up.

A late injury may have a lasting impact on the Steelers defense as just before the Steelers' final offensive drive, Alex Highsmith was seen entering the blue medical tent with an undisclosed injury. According to ESPN's Brooke Pryor, Highsmith left the tent sometime afterward with a slight limp and threw something in frustration. We'll have more on that injury as information becomes available.
