We all saw the controversial defensive holding call on Eagles cornerback James Bradberry late in the Super Bowl. This ticky-tack call with under two minutes remaining gave the Chiefs a first down and helped put the game on ice.

When Bradberry was asked about the penalty he committed while covering JuJu Smith-Schuster late in the contest, he owned up and claimed that it was the right call (though much of the national media would disagree). Though Bradberry handled the whole situation like a champion, JuJu did not.

On Valentine's Day, just two days after the Super Bowl, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver had the audacity to post a disrespectful meme aimed at Bradberry.

As hilarious and witty as this might be, it definitely seemed a little uncalled for -- especially after the way Bradberry owned up to the penalty and handled the situation. What makes this less funny is the fact that most believe that the defensive holding should have never been called in such a pivotal moment of the game when there wasn't much contact on the play.

Throughout most of the 2022 season and the entire playoff run, Smith-Schuster was relatively quite in comparison to his usual boisterous personality. However, as soon as the season was over, he is back to being a trending topic on Twitter. His most recent tweet has been met with mixed results. Some think it's hilarious while others couldn't believe he had the audacity to post this when he was barely touched on the play.

Would Steelers even consider signing JuJu Smith-Schuster back?

JuJu Smith-Schuster is set to be a free agent in 2023, and many Steelers media outlets have flirted with the idea of trying to bring him back. Fans seem to be quick to forget that JuJu's efficiency was at an all-time low in Pittsburgh prior to teaming up with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City.

For the price Pittsburgh would have to pay after his efficient season with the Chiefs, it wouldn't be worth adding an expensive slot receiver who would go back to a limited role with the Steelers. While I'm glad he got to be a part of a championship team, I'm also thankful that it's going to be some other team that pays for his services during the 2023 offseason. We've been there and done that already.
