Steelers target from Chargers: RB Larry Roundtree

This was another tough team to sort through, as there weren’t a lot of names that made sense for what the Steelers will be looking for during roster cutdowns. While the Chargers have a strong roster at the top of things, their depth players don’t offer much value in terms of what Pittsburgh needs.

Sticking with the third running back the Steelers could look for, Larry Roundtree fits the usual suspects of what this team would want. He has decent size and can contribute on special teams. While not his strong suit, he can also field kickoffs, further adding to his value. This is especially so since the returner position isn’t settled yet.

If I had to guess, I would assume that the team would turn to one of their current rostered names before taking a chance on Roundtree, but for the sake of completion, he makes the most sense from the Chargers. He can do a few different things which should aid him in sticking around a roster this season.
